Oppia netistä – maailman yliopistot tarjoavat laajan skaalan ilmaisia kursseja

Explore the opportunities of free higher education in English below.

Oxfordin yliopistoa – Oxford University.

Ihmeellinen on maailma!

Itse ajattelin aloittaa näistä: Fashion as Design  ja Getting Started with Agile and Design Thinking.

To Learn Is To Live – Online, For Free

Isn’t the world wonderful!?

(No, I am not in love, although I definitely would like to be. Spring, you know.)

“Wonderful”.
Full of wonders.

So much to marvel. So much to understand. So much to learn about.

I stumbled upon this list of 600 university courses, by 200 universities around the globe. Online, for free.

And what a list it is!

Interested in computer science or programming? Obviously, you can learn the secrets of the trade sitting by your computer.
Rather inclined towards humanities? Want to wander among ancient Egypt? Fancy the Spain of Don Quixote?
Social sciences, medicine, teaching, business, art & design – just pick your favourite.

Many of the courses are self-paced, so you can take them whenever and however suits you. In English, German, Italian, Japanese, Russian, Spanish…

The courses seem quite short, just some weeks and just some hours per week. Rather like teasers, sneak peeks of the field.
Or maybe it is because internet year is shorter than the year in real life?

Nevertheless, I am thrilled by this opportunity and also by this revolutionary shift in paradigm: free higher education for all!

I will start with these: Fashion as Design  ja Getting Started with Agile and Design Thinking.
